FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE 2021 CONFERENCE:

  • When is the Idaho Noxious Weed Conference (INWC)?
    • The INWC will be held January 13-14, 2021. This will be a purely virtual conference and there will be no one attending in person due to local and state restrictions on the congregation of people.
  • Who is able to attend the conference?
    • We would encourage anyone with an interest in vegetation management to attend the conference. However, we anticipate offering 8-10 Pesticide Applicator Credits for attendees that are seeking credits.
  • What does the lineup of presenters look like and what type of information will be available through the 2021 INWC?
    • There will be a large variety of presenters and information available through the 2021 INWC regarding all aspects of vegetation management. For more information regarding presenters and their presentations please see the abstracts tab and virtual schedule tab above.
  • What will be the procedure for Pesticide Applicator Credits?
    • During each of the sessions, a couple of questions will be asked of the participants to make sure that they are viewing the conference.
    • Prior to the 2021 INWC, you will be given an email address to send your answers to.
    • Your attendance will be verified during each session.
    • These answers will be tracked by the Idaho Noxious Weed Control Association staff and reported to the state departments of agriculture for credits to be awarded.
  • Can multiple people view the INWC on one device while in one room?
    • Yes, but each person will need to have access to their own personal device to send an email response to questions that will be asked during each session.
  • Do I have to watch the entire thing to get credits?
    • At this time, we are not certain how credits will be assigned (whether they will be per session or 1/2 day or full day). However they are assigned, you will need to be present during that entire time.
  • How many credits will there be for the conference?
    •  The following states  have contacted the INWCA office on the amount of credits that they have approved for the 2021 Idaho Noxious Weed Conference:
